In the Radharc film "I was talking to my friend", Philip Greene looks back on his short but controversial career as a church musician. The programme includes film of the first performances of both St. Patrick's Mass (first time on TV) and the St. Francis Mass. There are interviews with the composer, Philip Greene and Canon Sydney McEwan. The documentary ends with a preview of Philip's latest work - a new setting in English of the "Hail Mary".
